By connecting the sprayer to cogeneration or kiln heat recovery systems, you can make considerable savings on gas consumption.

  • up to 20% with kiln heat recovery system
  • up to 80% with connection to a cogeneration system

The sprayer can be set up to work with heat recovery systems from tile kilns.
If thermal waste is present in ceramics (ceramic kiln firing fumes, ceramic kiln cooling air, gas turbine or internal combustion engine cogeneration systems) this can be recovered in the sprayer and converted directly into gas savings. SACMI can propose a turnkey intervention starting from:
  • feasibility study
  • modification of the sprayer for connection to the recovery from the kiln and/or the cogeneration system
  • supply of the piping and related automation required to manage the system and “talk” to the existing automation on the sprayer
