On the latest generation presses, the need to recalibrate the system that manages the cylinder pre-fill valve opening and closing is common. In fact, a bad adjustment not only slows down the machine, but also causes foam in the oil and, as a consequence, malfunctions in the booster and instability in the pressing operation. The new piston accumulator is mounted on the hydraulic plate of the press. Controlled and managed by a proportional valve, it simplifies adjustments and improves the performance of the booster. When combined with the self-diagnosis kit, the system will also provide the status of the accumulator pre-fill to further support the maintenance technician.
