Technical Features

The system features a removable screw conveyor made of wear-resistant steel, with a tungsten carbide and chromium carbide coating. The water can be fed to raw materials both directly (through the screw-feeder) and indirectly (into the mill). The screw-feeder allows a greater consistency in the density of the slip, since the pipe does not need to be cleansed in case of obstruction. The only adjustment required is the centering during installation. The kit also prevents dirtying of the bearings by keeping the working area clean. Reduced wearing of the parts leads to a reduction in machine downtime. The screw-feeder main shaft can be reconditioned with a significant reduction of spare parts utilization.
